Jim lives in Gettysburg with his wife, Julie and their two children, Addy and Sam. He started his career as a financial advisor in 2003. He achieved his Certified Financial Planning certification in 2009. He enjoys cycling, golf, cooking, and traveling with his family. While he doesn’t really enjoy it, he does run a great deal.
Jamie started his career as financial advisor in 2006, and is now a managing partner with Advent Partners. He has grown the practice by delivering top-notch service and financial wisdom based on client’s goals and values. He has four children with his wife, Pam, and is actively involved in family life. He enjoys working on his golf game when he has time.
Shavonne started her career in project management before shifting focus to operations and leadership, where she found her passion for helping teams grow and succeed. She loves creating workplaces where people thrive and deliver meaningful results that ripple throughout their personal lives and communities. Outside of work, Shavonne enjoys reading, cooking, traveling with her family, as well as connecting with and mentoring other leaders.
Chris joined the financial planning field in 2011 and now serves as both Advisor and Practice Manager of Advent Partners. The idea of working together with Jamie was hatched at Cedarville College and came to fruition fifteen years later. Chris is happily married to his wife, Leslie, and they have two kids. He is involved with Trail Life at his church and enjoys biking and cooking with his family.
Paul joined Advent Partners in 2025 as part of the integration with Northeastern Star Asset Management. A graduate of Penn State University, he has also grown a tax preparation and payroll business over the past 30 years that gives him another opportunity to serve his financial planning clients. He is passionate about his relationship with his clients that he continues to serve and support. Paul lives in Mechanicsburg, PA with his wife Christine and their blended family of 5 children. He enjoys spending time on his golf game outside of work.
Ken Ferrone started his career in the finance industry in 1993. He is a graduate from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, with a BA in Economics and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation by the CFA® Institute, as well as the Certified Fund Specialist and Board Certified in Mutual Funds designations from the Institute of Business and Finance.
Ken resides in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, weightlifting, and watching hockey.
Gretchen acts as the liaison between our clients and their Advisor and is responsible for helping our clients put their financial plans into place. She is fully licensed and finds joy in getting to know our clients. She enjoys trying to keep plants alive, camping with her husband, Brian, being a dog mom, and volunteering at a local animal rescue. A West Virginia native, you can often find her outside without her shoes on.
Colin joined the practice now known as Advent Partners, in February 2020. He is a graduate of Messiah College where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in December 2019. He earned his CFP in January 2022, and is passionate about helping clients determine their goals and identifying a clear path toward achieving them. Outside of work, Colin enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling. Some of his favorite hobbies include surfing, snowboarding, and hiking.
Holly is a Planning Associate at Advent Partners where she coordinates and assists with client meetings. Although Holly is new to the financial planning field, she is excited about learning and growing in her current role, as she did in her previous career. She lives in the Gettysburg area with her husband, Luke, and daughter, Isabella. She enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
Lil joined Advent Partners in 2025 as part of our merger with Northeastern Star Asset Management. She has spent her entire career working in financial services with over 25 years of experience. Lil enjoys helping clients navigate the details of the plans set up with their advisors. She lives in Ligonier with her husband Steve and enjoys walks with her pup, spending time with family and friends, and traveling with her sister.
Lindsey graduated from Bryn Mawr College with a degree in English Literature. After working in the manufacturing and design industry, the financial planning world offers an exciting change of pace and a client-focused environment that is more fulfilling. Lindsey resides in Mechanicsburg and her favorite activities include collecting books, traveling, and movie nights with her family.
Sheri joined Advent Partners in June 2023 as Executive Assistant and transitioned to Client Services Associate in 2024. She takes pride in being both a reliable support and a welcoming presence for coworkers and clients. Originally from California, she has embraced life in Pennsylvania and now lives in a rural community just outside of Gettysburg with her husband, Teddy. Outside of work, Sheri enjoys creating art, indulging in all things cozy, exploring the woods, and being a novice birdwatcher.
Ally, a graduate of Messiah University, brings a passion for client service to her professional work, finding fulfillment in building meaningful relationships and delivering exceptional results. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Eli, along with family and friends. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves exploring nature and staying active through Pilates.
Christine joined Advent Partners in 2025, bringing a diverse background in education, office management, and client service. A graduate of Messiah College (now Messiah University) with a BA in Elementary Education, Christine has taught in a private school setting, served as a stay-at-home mom for over 20 years, worked as an office manager in a medical practice, and co-owns a tax preparation and payroll business with her husband, Paul. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and learning what matters most to them so she can help serve them well. Christine lives in Mechanicsburg with Paul and their blended family of five children, and in her free time enjoys traveling, reading, strategy puzzles, and spending time with loved ones over a good cup of coffee.
After graduating from Bowling Green State University with a BS in Elementary Education and teaching for 8 years, Jill dedicated the next 23 years as a stay-at-home mom. In 2014, she joined Northeastern Star Asset Management, now part of Advent Partners, as an Executive Assistant. In 2024, she added Grammy to her job titles- her favorite one yet. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her husband, Ken. In her spare time, she enjoys needlepoint, crafting and cooking.
