What are you most thankful for?
I’m thankful for a wife who I can walk through life’s blessings and challenges with. A loving family. A supportive church I look forward to attending each week. A dog who keeps me active on our daily adventures. And a job I enjoy going to each day.
What is the last book you read?
I am working my way through two books: Following Jesus by Andrew Randall and Faithful Leaders by Rico Tice.
What TV series are you currently watching?
I am currently watching Better Call Saul, Barry, and The Mandalorian.
When you are not at work, you are?
Out on the trail. My dog Blue and I usually do 2-4 miles each day, and whether it be with Shelby, or our church’s hiking group, I’ll do a longer day hike once a month.
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
I don’t know if this is technically advice, but I went to work with my dad when I was around 15 or 16, and we were talking about colleges, careers, and the future. What he said stuck with me because my dad is one who rarely shows his sensitive or emotional side. He told me whatever path I chose; he would support me and be proud of me. That comment stuck with me through the years. I hope to be the same champion for my wife, friends, family, and hopefully one day children. I hope they know when they are walking through hardship or making major decisions, I’m in their corner rooting for them and supporting them when I can.
What do you like most about working at Advent Partners?
Connecting and partnering with our clients each day. Watching our clients achieve their goals and live their lives free from worry is exhilarating.
